 As a Spokane local, I am honored to do healing work on the lands of the Spokane Tribe and Salish People. I hope our work together may bring healing to ourselves, our community, and the land we now share. 

I’m Jacob McEwen, a marriage and family therapy associate (MG61449528) based in Spokane, WA. I currently receive supervision from Karen King, MS, LMHC (LH60163851). I earned my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Whitworth University in 2023, following a career in social work. Prior to this I studied existential philosophy and theology at Boston College, which has come to inform much of my work as a healer and therapist.

I take a holistic, integrated approach to therapy—one that focuses on healing mind, body, and spirit, while considering each individual's unique experiences and social context. I see therapy a sacred space where we authentically encounter ourselves and access the intuitive healing wisdom within us. I hope to inspire a sense of wonder and interconnectedness in my clients, as we cultivate compassion, gratitude, and a deeper appreciation of life. My practice is open to all people, genders and orientations. I advocate for the rights of my LGBTQIA+ clients both within my profession and in our community.
